A belp and defender of the poor and needy, a healing physician of the sick, A contender of fighter for kings, O great among martyrs, The victorious George; Intercede with Christ God for the salvation of our souls.

Our Patron Saint George is celebrated every year on April 23 with a special Divine Liturgy and family picnic.
Currently under the spiritual care and guidance of Rev.
Fr. Hanania Hakimeh Since September 2024, and now under the Blessings and care of Our beloved Metropolitan SABA, Archbishop of New York and Metropolitan of All North America.
We are currently 150 families strong and growing and welcome everyone to join in the Orthodox faith, worship, stewardship, and ministries.
Orthodoxy is a way of life in the church, and in our homes. God Bless.
Our church is part of the Antiochian Orthodox Christian
Archdiocese of North America which it is part of the Patriarchate of Antioch.
Antioch is one of the first Four Sees present at the First Ecumenical Council of Nicaea in the year 325.
(Rome, Constantinople, Alexandria, and Antioch.) Antioch was founded by both Disciples, Peter and Paul, and it is mentioned in the Acts of the Apostles: "And the disciples were first called Christians in Antioch" (Acts 11:26)
Today the Antiochian Orthodox Christian Archdiocese of
North America includes Eight (8) Dioceses containing over 200 cathedrals, churches, and missions throughout the United States and Canada.
The Orthodox Church is the original Christian Church founded by Jesus and continued by His Apostles. It is the same Church described in the Bible as the Body of Christ and the Bride of Christ (1 Corinthians 12:27; Ephesians 5:23-25). Throughout its 2000-year history Orthodox Christianity has remained faithful to the teachings and practices passed on from the Apostles and early Church Fathers (2 Thessalonians 2:15).
The Orthodox Church began in Jerusalem on the day of Pentecost (Acts 2), and from there spread throughout the world.
Today some 200 million people identify as Orthodox Christians, most of whom live in Greece, Russia, Romania, Serbia and other eastern European countries, as well as throughout the Middle East. Approximately four million Orthodox live in the United States.
